1. What This Is

ThePixelField is a collaborative pixel canvas where users place colored pixels to create shared artwork. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

• You may sign in via Google or Discord. You are responsible for your account.
• You choose a public display name. Do not impersonate others.
• We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

3. Rules of Use

You agree not to:

• Place pixels depicting illegal content, hate speech, slurs, or targeted harassment
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to place pixels
• Attempt to exploit, attack, or disrupt the service (including the cooldown system)
• Circumvent authentication or impersonate other users
• Use the platform to advertise, spam, or promote external services

We reserve the right to remove pixels and ban users who violate these rules, at our sole discretion.

4. Your Content

Pixels you place become part of the shared canvas. You grant ThePixelField a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and reproduce the canvas (including your pixels) for any purpose related to the service.

You retain no exclusive rights over individual pixels or canvas areas.

5. Free Trial & Cooldowns

• Anonymous users get 3 free pixels before being required to sign in.
• Signed-in users get 3 instant pixels, then a cooldown period.
• Watching an ad may reduce your cooldown. Ad availability is not guaranteed.
• We may change these limits at any time.

6. No Warranty

ThePixelField is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or that the canvas will persist forever.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ThePixelField and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or content.

8. Canvas Resets

We reserve the right to reset, modify, or archive the canvas at any time for any reason (events, maintenance, storage, or fresh starts).

9. Modifications

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
